Digital Domain reunited with Joseph Kosinski to realize the Director’s stunning vision of a future earth, evolved beyond recognition, and his story of one man’s confrontation with the past that leads him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind. Under the guidance of Visual Effect Supervisor Eric Barba, Digital Domain wielded a full range of digital production techniques in the service of the film — from planning the shooting approach to creating the CG drones, Tet and other structures, to extending environment, creating digital doubles, drone vision, explosions, and full CG sequences.
